Happy Easter

Here are my springtime greetings to you.
This was done two years ago and remains one of my favorites.

For those of you who follow my blog, I have been down with pneumonia
since mid March.  It is a long haul and I will not be painting for few weeks yet.
But now I am getting stronger and looking forward to checking up on what you have been doing.
Celebrate spring wherever you are.

  2. This is a beautiful painting, Helen. The colors of Spring! I didn't know you have been so sick and I'm so sorry. Pneumonia takes a long time to disappear. The fact that you're stronger is a wonderful, hopeful sign. Take care of yourself! The painting will come.

  5. What a BUMMER! you poor thing. I do hope your recovery will be complete with no lasting problems. You do have to behave yourself, you know...how good are you at doing that?
I love the thrust of the verticals - gives strength to your lovely high key painting.
