Before we get to the decoy, here is a much better picture of the pitcher from my last posting. I did play with some settings, allowing more light in. It really helped.
This is a painting of a very old decoy. It is my more realistic version. Very natural colors.

Lastly, a quick, quick sketch in oils...........just trying to lay down my impression of this particular decoy. Do you think any of the impressionists painted decoys?
